Fucking hell. I guess the guy can't deliver the bike so now I have to get a friend to hook his trailer up and drive me to Fort McMurray aka Highway 63 -the most dangerous highway in Alberta. Not because of the conditions but because of the fucking rednecks in their lifted trucks.

It's a single-lane highway so if you give an dumb shit $200K/year, he's going to have one hell of a sense of entitlement.

5 hour drive. Fucking hell.

Tell me everything I need to know about window tinting.

It seems 22% is what most people feel comfortable with.

I wouldn't go that dark, I just got my new car tinted on the weekend with 30% FormulaOne Pinnacle (ceramic) tint same as my last car. If you are looking for a top notch tint guy I'd highly recommend Auto-Links in Scarborough (Kennedy/401), had my last two cars tinted there and they do top notch work at great prices.

I'm looking around at summer wheel/tire options for my car, I love the 19" AMG wheels it came (see pic) with but going to run them as my winter setup.

True enough but thinking about a set of these Forgestar's in this same finish... looked at a set of HREs but I don't think I can stomach $5k USD for wheels alone.

Hmmm IMO stock looks better than the forgestars. Too many curves for a car that's essentially a sledgehammer.

Yeah we'll see, I quite like them as they are a bit more aggressive in terms of sizing/offset. Will also allow me to upsize the tires which is badly needed.

I must say though I'm quite impressed so far at the balance of the car, its not an M3 but its also not a sloppy beast either... got to mess around in some twisty roads on the weekend and it was no slouch at all. Can't wait until I'm through the break in period to really beat on it.

Yessir, it has the AMG Performance Package with LSD, increased top speed, carbon fibre trim/spoiler, and an extra 30hp. Absolutely no question on that option either, 450+ hp without limited slip is just ridiculous. Should be mandatory on this car.

Took off the driver fender and both driver's side doors on the 4Runner last night. Underneath the fender, there's a bit of surface rust all over the... I don't even know what that's called. It's what the fender bolts onto.

Now, I have to sandblast that bitch and then spray rust converter, rust preventer, and rock guard on the thing.

The 4Runner looks more dismantled the further down the road I go lol

After sandblasting that, I have sandblast a couple more areas where a bit of rust is showing on bare metal where I previously sandblasted (I was snow blowing with the garage door open and snow got on the metal. Double the work. FML.)

After that, more etch primer and it'll be fucking gravy for paint!

LOL thanks...Vise's car qualifies but mine's just a regular non-M BMW with a light sprinkling of M bits.

Yeah man, too bad they are also more expensive by a mile... I did pretty well selling all of the wheels/tires etc from my M3 so have a bit of cash to spend on a set of summer wheels. Not sure I want to stretch way beyond the top end of the budget even though I've been coveting a set of HREs the past 5 years or so.

I really like the brushed/tinted clear finish on the HREs, think it would look sick on my car.

I hear you although the Volks on my M3 were in flawless condition after 2 summers. My winter rims on the other hand tend to take a beating.

Will need to think about which way to go, as much as I love the HREs the price/cost equation is way out to lunch. If the Forgestar wheel/tire package is price X the HREs are 2.4X...
