i just installed PS7 on this machine recently. i have made a circle and want to fill it solid black but when i go to do so with the pain bucket tool, it puts a gradient on the edges, like feathering or something. it must be something simple but i'm too stupid to figure it out.

please help.

right click on the icon and change it to the paint bucket tool as opposed to the 'gradient' tool.

the paint bucket and the gradient tool are under the same button... make sure you have selected the paint bucket and not the gradiant tool...

After you select the paint bucket tool look along the top edge of the progam under the file, edit, etc.

there will be a toolbar there for the paintbucket. Just make sure feathering and such is unchecked before you fill in the circle.
