Now that was a party...

What scene has the best crowds? Breaks.
What scene has the hottest women? Breaks.
What scene produces the most alcoholics? Breaks.

Robb and I played hard as hell, Chu and Saddler funked it up... but one of the highlights for me definitly was Chu's tribute to Cindi Lauper. That was pure party tactics... and they danced too.

Hopefully, Pat got to bed alright. When I left he was still standing, which is evidence that I didn't quite do my job

The pict's look great, I'll post them when I get home from work tonight.

Happy birthday Pat.

What a night!!
I think everybody was just out ready to have
CHEAP DRINKS and celebrate Pat's B-Day.
Respects to everyone who came out and to all the DJ's who played.
D-Monic and Robb G set a great tone for me and Dave to work off of. Too bad about the fuzzy skipping needle on the left side.
To all those people who don't know that Cindy Lauper record was sitting by the tables all night and Dan was taunting me to mix it.

I also ended up taking it and putting it in my bag sshhhhhhhhh.

Dan....you are an evil man! When all that alcahol actually kicked in....it was not a pretty sight. I got into bed, and the room was spinning until 12:00 in the afternoon.

I have one thing to say to you....
PAYBACK!!!!

Thanks to everyone who made it out lastnight. I'm sorry if my drunken behavior annoyed anyone, but it was all Dan's fault. Thanks to the DJ's for playing, and special thanks to Alicia and France for making it all happen.
I must go now and nurse my pounding head!

On my way home I realized I forgot to tell you rule number's 3 and 4 in the professional drinking handbook... It would have prevented the spinning and killed most of the hangover.

Sorry... but hey, that's what birthday's are for!

Years of practice have allowed me to develop:

The D-Monic Professional Drinking Rules

  1. Never drink on an empty stomach. Make sure that you eat plenty of heavy foods before hand (i.e.: carb-heavy items like pasta and bread).
  2. Try not to mix your alcohol. Find one thing stick to it (i.e.: I ONLY drink Rum & Coke)
  3. Never drink sitting down, and never sit down while you're drinking. Keep moving, keep the blood flowing.
  4. If you feel yourself getting too drunk too fast start drinking a full glass of water between drinks. This helps to thin out the alcohol.
  5. On your way home, eat something. Hot Dog, Burger King, what ever. It will help absorb the alcohol in your stomach.
  6. If you can't sleep because the world is spinning, watch TV until you pass out. All you need to kill off the spins is something to focus on. Your body will shut down when it's ready and you'll sleep well.
    [/list=a]

I don't know if there is any medical basis for any of these rules, and I don't care. All I know is if I stick to these I can drink like a fish, and wake up with at worst a minimal hangover.

    Happy drinking!
