petition for an 'ask tribe' forum

seems to be at least 1 or 2 of these type threads every day - looking for help / info about [blank]

and most of them are repeats of earlier threads, by people who couldn't be bothered to dredge up the old thread....

wouldn't it make more sense to have a dedicated forum? easier to find the old threads... less threat of hijacking (perhaps), less clutter in the general forum (like it matters, there's enough pants threads to clothe a third world country)

i know it'll never happen, but i'm bored enough to suggest it anyway

No one would read that forum.

Same with the roll call forum; no one really checks it so people came up with a "weekend thread" idea to disguise their roll calls.

but then i realized you had a point alex, so i dunno...any middle ground, probably not

we need a buy & sell forum.. i'm sure THAT would get traffic.. come on alex.. hook it up... Ian alone can keep the forum stocked
