Perfectly good night out.....tainted!!!

[rant]Ok so last night me and my girlfriend head down to Milano's for the opening night of Funky 4/4 (and no this should'nt be in reviews its a complaint I want to vent about) and everything is excellent. I give the bartender my visa and run a tab. The night goes on and everything is great........I go to close out my tab and it takes for ever....no big deal.....they ran out of paper on the machine. Finally i get the bill and it consists of :

5 Rye & cokes (I had 3) (2 ????)
2 Shots ( me and jayrev)
1 whiskey sour (my g/f)
1 vodka cran (my g/f)
1 blue (??????)

soooo in total there were 3 drinks i did not order?? WTF!!?!?!

So after that long wait and no bartender in sight to complain to i said fuck it and just signed it and left, giving a 5 dollar tip on $50 dollars worth of drinks ($15 of which were not mine).

WTF.....if they had just charged me for my actual drinks i prob would have tipped them a good $12, but no they had to be devious!! [/rant]

Anyways like I said a perfectly good night tainted

a) You paid for drinks erroneously appearing on your tab, AND

b) YOU FUCKING TIPPED THEM FOR THE PLEASURE OF HAVING THEM RIP YOU OFF.

#1 the tip i left was stupid yes i agree.......i was'nt thinking striaght........i was still going over the drinks i bought in my head.

#2 I was in a hurry to leave (g/f wanted to get home if you know what I mean)

#3 at first i did'nt bug me too much cause i was in a good mood, but on my way home it started to piss me off.

You'll find this happens a lot in the city, when you leave an open tab on the bar.

A few individuals I know in the bar business will add random drinks to your tab, which goes directly into their pocket.

It's really easy to do, especially when there are several people drinking off your tab. Makes it difficult to prove "I didn't order these 5 drinks".

Shitty.

My night @ Milano's was originally tainted when I dropped 20 bucks within 5 metres of a bank machine, and I went back 10 seconds later and someone had scooped it!

Lurch that's unfortunate, you should have complained, but oh well.. you'll know for next time I guess. That happened to me once before, but thankfully the bartender apologised and gave me a drink on the house. Was it really busy last night?
