Hey, mebbe you were the guy in front of the booth on the floor that Parks and Wilson handed a CD to. It was around 3:30 or 3:45 or something? I was the guy in the booth with the camera.

haha...no i wasn't there, but that probably was my buddy...for some reason he just walked up there and shouted "hey how about a cd?", and they gave him one, but he didn't even know they had any, he just got this urge to go up and ask....lol

pretty good disc too, I burned it yesterday

I was there. I think I must have been one of 300 people there because Breathe was D-E-A-D I tell you! It was more dead than a graveyard.

I've been meaning to post this earlier, but I kept forgetting.

Okay, all bad jokes aside... Despite the lack of people in attendance, it was a good show. I've caught P&W three times now and I must say this was pretty on par with what I'd heard before out of them.

I was there with a visiting friend from Australia and she was pretty impressed with their set, although when Mick Wilson stepped up (that's the black guy) it sort of tailed off a bit. We left around 5:30, so we heard a fair chunk of their set.

Mick Wilson grabbed my attention over a tune and said, "This is the new one" - so they definitely dropped some fresh tunes. I must say that he's one of the nicest DJs I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He came out of the booth to chat with me and my friends and even took a few pics with us.

Cheers,
Jay K.

The vibe wasn't nearly as good as usual... and hardly anyone was there.
I don't think that it was the music... just more that it was so empty.

I met a few wicked TBK's though so that made it much better

Beg to differ....I thought these guys were great.I know that it was a "quiet" night for System but my pals & I had a great time 'till closing.

I've never heard of these 2 guys but once I got home I downloaded some P&W off AudioG. and I like their shit so I hope to see these guys back in T.O soon

The last time Parks & Wilson visited was better than this time. The sets just didn't go anywhere.
Parks was up first and started off great, I was really enjoying the tunes, especially the one that sounded sort of middle-eastern. He built the music up to a certain level and then stayed there for the remainder - no peaks, valleys or any other changes in intensity. I thought we would be moving on once Wilson came on, but that didn't happen. Same feel, same intensity, same type, could have even been all the same track considering the amount of variation. I danced a bit, tried to get into it, but after a while I got bored and had to stop.
It wasn't a bad set, just not up to the standards I experienced the last time or expected this time.
Win some loose some.
