I didn't know you're an expert in high powered assault rifles and how people die when shot. You watch too many action movies man.

I don't think there is supposed to be any recoil with those guns. How do you slump when you're lying on the ground? Chill.

With all that planning they still didn't get an actor to "die" properly, didn't get a gun to recoil, and did it in public so it can be filmed. I've seen scenes planned better in action movies!

I think they're using Ak's, there's not much recoil with that gun. It's actually a very easy gun to shoot and controllable. This is an officer that was shot and was clearly still alive, he may have been shot in the vest which may have injured him or temporarily knocked him out thus no blood. As for the one point blank, our vantage point is not ideal and this gun wouldn't make a huge mess so expecting to see splatter etc might be far fetched.

the past couple of years watching liveleak I've seen plenty of hapless fellows getting gunned down by AKs and it's pass or go some of them explode some of them just crumple to the ground.

aks have a balanced recoil system very little recoil. most modern assault rifles have similar dampening tech like spring loaded anti-recoil tubes.

Never mind that a silence still keeps the gun loud as fuck, but not fuck enough to need to wear hearing protection.

The fact we're getting action flick logic is blowing my mind - thankfully I timed my jump just right to catch the shockwave and get flung to safety.

Think of it more as a suppressor. IME you'll still need hearing protection for rifles with suppressors though. Fun to shoot, but still loud.

Yeah. The brothers are holding hostages in northern Paris and the guy that killed the policewoman is holding five people hostage in eastern Paris. Reports are that two hostages have been killed.
