Well, first of all, I'd like to apologize to anyone I may have a) molested b) jumped on c) shattered their ear drum with my yelling about finally being 19..... the list goes on, you know who you are. *blush*

Needless to say, I had too much absinthe before showing up, and the tequilla shots at the club were not the wisest of ideas!!!!!!

As a result, I was only able to stay until for about an HOUR!!! And, they could have been playing top 40 for all I knew!!! good god.... *shakes head*

Anyway, BEAN- I am SO sorry for making you wait in line for me in the girls washroom!! I ended up just going in the guy's one and then forgot about the whole thing!!! *more blushing*

Also to that poor girl I practically molested *L* ... who are you?? I think Adam introduced you to me and you're on the tribe board??

Gerald- you should never have let me do those shots...

And a million and one thank yous to tommy for taking care of my drunk-ass self. *S*

To my girls- you guys rock. I will never forget watching Galit trying to park with one leg dragging out of the door.... *LOL*

SO ANYWAY- since I kind of missed the party or just generally dont remember much of it, would you fill me in?? how was the music!!?!?

Yeah...this party was definitely one of the funniest/strangest experiences I have ever had. THANK YOU Laura and Tommy for getting me SMASHED on Absinthe. "This drink is the devil" ;) Three and a half shots from Laura and I was flying for 12 hours. I woke up drunk this morning!!!! *LOL*

It was fun seeing and meeting some really cool people last night! Like Laura, I sort of can't remember the entire night, but I think the music was good? Kim told me the next day that the music was awesome, and I totally trust her judgment. That's so weird, I have never had an experience where I was so drunk that I could not remember the music. Damn, I think they do put some weird drugs in Absinthe!! :p

Yeah Madnezz, as for me trying to park with the door open and one leg hanging out of the car.......damn......I don't even remember driving from Tommy's place to the club!!! *LOL* All I remember was us singing along to a techno track that didn't even have any words! hahahahahahahaa...........What a wild night!

I want to thank all my lovely ladies for such a cool experience. You girls are awesome!

That was futtwerK, i believe! I'm sure she loves you now though...you never get a second chance to make a first impression!

Good tunes - LOVED Jeremy's live PA and couldn't tear myself away from watching that figure skater smash off the ice on repeat! Not sure how much birthday oy kf caught as he passed out and refused to move from one of the couches in the back...

Always great parties, those Building Blocks!

Meh, It was cool that my friends were there, but I think I was too tired to be there!

Pantytec started to pick it up a little more at around 4:30 or so!

Jeremy pulled off his live P.A. god which was nice!

But the system up there has to be changed!

I had a great time at this event. It totally made my last minute decision to drive up from Windsor worth it.

... on hindsight, Mike I should've called you! :(

Building Blocks/fukhouse/Technomeet events pretty much guarantee that I will have: great music, great venues, and loads of familiar faces.

the pixel board was back. that thing totally cracked me up (and I'm not even sure *why*). I too couldn't stop looking at the projections screen, showing the animated skaters taking fall.

As for the music: wow. Can we have more events like this? Pantytec got me dancing as did Mr. Caulfield. Dave, I caught your set but was too busy wandering about to dance!

Laura: it was awesome spending time with you... thanks for making me laugh. No worries about the whole bathroom thing, either. I hope your knee is feeling better.. and thanks for slapping my ass :p

Kumi: I'm so glad that we got to see each other and talk about things.

Anna: It was great to see you again... let's not lose touch.

I'm definitely looking forward to the next event!

Maybe if you would have told me about the Absinthe before the shots... I would have lightened up. Besides, i only offered to do 1 shot. :p

Actually, i think maybe i should be apologizing to Tommy. He's the one who had to take care of you in that state!
- Been there, done that. On both sides of the picture. None of them are pleasant, but do provide interesting stories nonetheless. :)

Damn...I can't beleive I missed you Laura. Happy belated B-day. I saw. KF was having fun though (prolly had a really good sleep on 'dem couches).

Wasn't absinthe banned in the '70's because of it's metally depiliating effects? Did they bring it back? Where can I try some?

here are the answers to your questions:
- yes, it is banned in canada except for BC (go figure)... the stuff they now have in the LCBO ("absente" or something) is NOT REAL ABSINTHE!!! dont go buy it!
- you can get some if you are in BC, Czech Republic (where we got it), Spain and one other place, I forget where...
- or, go to the website http://www.laboheme.uk.com/absinthe.htm and you can actually order it online. If you actually do that, only buy the "absinthe King" because it has the most amount of thujone!!!!!! (from wormwood)

Download the .exe or .zip (zip contains the .exe and is smaller). Click on the .exe to install and it will show up in your screen saver properties window.
