Shouldn't we all be worrying about that, much more important problem?

Why hassle the job creators??

I was surprised by the fact Delaware is the shell company capital of America and that USA is 3rd (above Panama) in the world for financial secrecy like this.

Harper signed trade deal with Panama encouraging tax evasion | ThinkPol
Former Prime Minister Stephen Harper signed a trade deal with Panama in 2010, which encourages tax evasion by Canadian companies, according to experts.
“According to a Tax Justice Network report from 2011, Canada loses an estimated $80 billion per year to all forms of tax evasion,” he added. “The government does not have a system for estimating and publishing the amount of lost revenues due to offshore non-compliance.”

i bet he's on the list. a bunch of his Oil buddies are.

In 2011, Sen. Bernie Sanders stood before Congress and predicted that the so-called "free trade agreement" with the small nation of Panama would lead to an explosion of tax evasion there.

This is just like Occupy Wall Street - remember when everyone was ganging up and saying such mean things about wealthy people??

Sad because it looks like, out of all the scandalous revelations, Iceland's PM does not appear to have engaged in any actual corruption. Happy because in order for anti-corruption systems to work, they kind of need to be strict.

Most countries are too apathetic to hold their leaders to account for conflicts of interest, and they get what they deserve.

China is pretty much denying things up and down. I expect that they'll probably tell their trust fund kids to tone down the display of wealth a bit, probably not much more.

Reading your unoriginal faux outrage is like watching a bad Steven Colbert impersonator hindered by a couple massive strokes bumble through his monologue.

Your simplistic and annoying synopses of complicated economic issues will probably drive more wealthy people to evade taxes so they don't have to keep your obnoxious flapping mouth fed and watered.

It's too bad JamesM's soccer buddies told him to put all his money in Panama. Guy can't catch a break.

Dude even when when he's out of office he can't seem to evade your hatred. Better target in this case would be Paul Martin and a bunch of job creating/airline manufacturing Quebecers and an oil refining owning family out east who somehow convinced CRA to let over a billion dollars out of the country - no Panama involved there.
