So I'm in the midst of moving/packing, and came across quite a few CDs purchased for their one-hit wonders.

Anyone remember:

in fact, they were pretty cool at one time.

as for one hit wonders, how about "Nada Surf"? (they had the song "Popular" with the weird video that has the cheerleader chick whoring it up)

actually, you're right - they're not all shit. I still love to rock out ot pearl jam and tragically hip. i was just mentally noting the discs i haven't listened in a while.

here are my one hit wonders

bring it back by moloko. the rest of their stuff is brutal.
lightening crashes by live. they're more like a one album wonder. throwing copper was excellent.
rapture by io. they will be a hit wonder.
and the kids that sang pass the dutchie.

thats all i could think of right now.

Have you ever noticed that all of the Tragically Hip songs all sound the same? Their all really fucking annoying. However my theory is if your a hick Canadian their songs must sound good because your mullet drowns out most off key crap.
