Yep and will be retired next year, replaced by the Chevy CobaltOriginally posted by The Tesseract
GM has the cavalier, a rather successful line, but one that has gone through 2 heavy revisions since it's inception.

Honda shoudl not retire the civic because people like you think it "sucks".
You are comparing a VR6 to a Civic? Hmm. let me see, I wonder what the price difference is. VW vs Honda is not an apples to apples comparison.
Dont tell me you think Dodge makes better cars than Honda.
Dont tell me you think the crapalier is even CLOSE to a honda.
Dont tell me you think that the mazda six is better than the accord.
Honda is using a simple formula: build a generic car that everybody will love, and build it for a cheap price, but dont skimp on quality. Thats why theyre better than Gm and Ford. The build quality of a focus is Garbaggggio!
Anyways. this is a stupid comparison is all Im saying.

What bothers me is that they think vtec is t3h aw3som3.
the VTEC engine configuration is older than dirt and has never accomplished any real performance, hence it's placement in economy cars.

Huh? What about every major automotive publication's 2003 vehicle ranking articles? But what do they know.Originally posted by swenard
Cause there is no way in this world that an accord is better then a Mazda6.
Very good performance for the money, not overly attractive (especially from the back), slightly cheesy interior. But I would have very seriously considered buying one if they made a coupe version.Originally posted by swenard
What does everyone think of the Sentra Spec-V?

I went to go buy an Altima last night and I saw this nice yellow Sentra spec-V with the Brembo package for a hell of a lot less then the Altima I was looking at. I took it for a test drive and it is very quick. Although it needs an aftermarket Turbo(anyone know where I can find one?). I think I am going to buy it instead of the Altima now. It is a lot cheaper and a car that suits me more. (except it is a little small for a big guy like myself)

FUCK. enough with this srt/4 bullshit. A beefed up dodge with a HISTORY of build and reliability problems is not the do all and end all to this argument. So what, it has 230hp. BIG FUCKING DEAL.
