Greetings.
You will all be pleased to hear that your beloved techno has claimed yet another innocent victim.
It all started sometime mid 2001, with a borrowed copy of Tiga's 'Mixed Emotions' and a joint. From there it was on to Misstress Barbara's cd, then Tiga at Life. I hit several of the more high profile techno events along with other parties (mostly house and progressive) during the summer/fall session, realizing that I was enjoying the techno more and more with each party.
Most recently my addiction became apparent at the Smirnoff party, where despite the star-studded line-up the only artist I was interested in hearing/seeing was Green Velvet.
Until now I have strictly been going more mainstream techno events, but I would really like to get into some of the smaller, tight jams featuring fresh talent and proper crowds as well.
At this point I hope that my enthusiasm makes up for my ignorance. Please feel free to educate me as required. The transformation is almost complete.
