...And I thought I was just drunk

woke up around 20 to 7 and my bed was kinda shaking... i actually contemplated at the time that it might have been an earthquake, but i brushed it off... turns out New York state got hit with an earthquake around that time.

No reports of anything too bad happening either.:)

Something woke me up a little before my alarm was supposed to go off this morning. I also brushed it off, thinking i was just sleeping uneasily... but i guess I felt the earthquake.

cool.

Some little things in my room fell over.

If my mother didn't inform me of this earthquake I would have never known.

Yes there was an actual earthquake in Ontario today...

they announced it on the weather network...

wasn't huge or anything but there was seismic activity...

Didn't notice, I was sound asleep... but then, the way I sleep, my apartment could be falling down around me and I wouldn't know.

I'd sleep through a nuclear bomb too !!

I remember one summer when I was like 10 or something I was in Montreal when there was a small earthquake.

I remember I was lying in bed and all of a sudden the entire house started shaking. It lasted for maybe 10 seconds. The next day there were big cracks everywhere in the road...and that was pretty much all the damage it did.

That's a great story. Can you tell another one?

You were in Montreal and there were big cracks in the road? Hmm ... that sounds completely out of the ordinary in Quebec. Next thing you know, you're gonna tell me there were a whole bunch of potholes created by the earthquake too.

I actually felt it.
I remember lying in bed and it was rumbling and I was confused and didn't think about it again until my friend told me 20 minutes ago.
I missed the storm but felt the earthquake
