Off Leash Dog Park via TTC?

So I no longer have regular access to a car and I want to let my dog have a good run. I used to to take him to the brickworks but that place is a bitch without a car (buses and whatnot).

Any good places? A little more private is better because he is easily distracted.

yeah the dog hill in high park is an off leash area
you should take your dog to the beach - I take my dogs there and there are off leash areas - they love it so much - you take the streetcar down to the end and you are there :)

MURDER PARK!!

Uhm, I mean, Allan Gardens.

Take my dog there a fair bit. The part closest to Gerrard on Jarvis is leash-free.

LOL, that was a one time thing.

For those who don't know (most of you), Charlie puked on a visit to Primal's house.... on naomi's shoes. hilarity (and anger) ensued.

Dan

That would explain why Charlie and you were french kissing all the time.

"Off-leash" parks??
Do people really adhere to On-Leash park rules?

Once a week I take Baxter in to work with me (from the zoo to Yonge and Eg) and from the moment I get off the subway his leash comes off and it stays off for the rest of the day until i have to get back on the TTC. When I go our for stuff or just to take him out for a wee I never bother to put his leash on.

has anyone every been fined for not having their dog on leash?

I should have clarified, not "offleash area" but "good area to let a dog run around regardless of bylaws".

My dog is only 8 months so I can't just let him go anywhere.

oh, ok.

Baxter turns 8 months on xmas eve, but he's really well trained cuz i've been taking him into work with me about twice a week since he was about 3 months old.

Yeah it's a really good working environment. One of the girls brings in her shit zhu every day and this thing is treated like a princess. There's another girl who brings in her terriers one in a while, and then the guys in the office across the hall who bring in their dogs a chocolate lab and a french masitff.
If I don't take Baxter in at least once a week he get's pissed off and doesn't talk to me for a day or so.
