Isn't it obvious that supporting charity through purchasing something (i.e. a chocolate bar) where so much of the "donation" is eaten up covering the cost of the merchandise isn't really an efficient way to support a charity at all?

That reminds me, I have some Toblerone left over. Walmart was the charity for this one... along with 60 or so Ferrero Rocher chocolates.

I used the chocolate thing as an example. Those chocolate suck, large. And the few times I've bought them it's been from co-workers who's kids are raising money for their schools.

I'm just saying that supporting smaller charities is my bag. Although I've been known to support heart & stroke foundation and Sick kids just to stick it to cancer a little.

Today I saw some mid aged women totally go at it on the spadina streetcar.

actually it started off outside wating for it (at the stn.)

but it involved alot of the C word and shoving and threats of calling the cops.

interestingly. the TTC personnel on tap were very observant. must be a ttc bylaw not to get involved for legal reasons.

but hey. it was a genuine WTF.
