there is a summer student working here who is SO LOUD. she is the director of finance's daughter, working under her mom and the Accounting Manager. All day long i hear her loud annoying voice yelling "Maaaaa!!!!!" and asking questions across the room. i'm not sure what irritates me more - the constant loud yelling across the office or the complete lack of professionalism and the "don't care" attitude of her mom in correcting her behaviour.

fucking ugh.

just spoke with the old man...

it's his first day back to work after beating prostate cancer! He sounded excited and happy! :)

I hope that his co-workers do something nice for him... he's been there at least 20 years.

I'm so happy for him!

We have one of these in our office right now, but she keeps her yap shut and looks hot so I'm not saying much. :)

so far we have 5, but we plan to have 10 by June. this is an organization with 20 full-time staff.

good ol' non-profit. :rolleyes:

I hate going down to the lunch room for free bagels and then realizing that there's none cos it's Tuesday and then getting a coffee, but then the milk in the container has probably been sitting out for the whole long weekend and it's now completely sour and lumpy.

haha, yes, memories of being 20, screaming "it's not right, but it's okay" and dancing til 7am.
Now I'm older, it's 10am and I'm doing so while cleaning and redecorating.

The best part about clodhoppers is you can leave them scattered around your desk and when someone walks by you can exclaim "MMM!!! RAT DROPPINGS!" and gleefully pop one in your mouth.

haha, I forgot about that. That truly is the best thing about clodhoppers.

Variation: Scatter them around and exclaim "okay, who shit on my desk?" Then taste one and accuse someone in your payroll department.

Great to hear Patrick, awesome news :)

Can't really say the same for myself...simply put, I got drop kicked then clotheslined by the long weekend. ouch.
