Night Shift SUCKS BALLS

Well ive been on night shift for about a year now. I was fine with it when I first started. But now that im spinning again, Ive gotten back into contact with the world. Now my job is just an annoyance Mon to fri ( NOT THE USUSAL SUN TO THURS ). It's caused me to sleep excessive hours, maybe 11 12 hours mininum on weekdays and 15 hours on weekends. This is EVERYDAY PEOPLE!!! I asked my boss to switch me over to day shift... No chance in hell im getting it. I haven't seen my aunt in almost a year and she recently saw me and told me that I look really unhealthy. My hair is fading in colour, I have huge bags under my eyes plus I don't eat healthy.

So far Ive only applied at one job, hopefully I don't have to do any other. Cuz for me to apply I have to stay up for the rest of the day after my shift in order to do my daily work/goals.

Ugh.. I love my job.. just not where I do it...

End Rant.....

When did you ever eat healthy Dave? You don't even have me to wake your ass up playing tunes anymore :p

i worked nights for just under a year.. one of the hardest thinkg is keeping a healthy diet. Sounds like you are not eating well. Are you getting enough iron? you describe having symtoms of palour, tiredness, hair thinning. this sounds like anemia (i get low iron and go off and on iron supplements because of it) When was the last time you got a blood test?

Can't remember.. when I was little. I have thought of that being low Iron and all. But in some previous jobs ive had id be on nights for a steady time like 3 months. Then Id be taken off. When I was on nights id sleep crazy hours, and when switched and sleep normal human time. Id get my 8 hours and id wake up fine. But then eating did change both times.
