what a night. like highsteppa and che said, mark scaife and nick warren were on. from the highest highs to the dirtiest and darkest lows, the music was pumping. a mix of prog, house, some trance tossed in for good measure, it was quite a ride. but the programming i'd have to say was spot on. warren started off with some dirty prog, then would toss in something a bit lighter, a bit trancier, bring you up....and then thunder down with just the hardest and sickest beats.....over and over, each time taking you a bit higher and sending you back down that much harder. by the time my night ended, my legs, back, knees, ankles and shoulders were super sore. a testament to how much i danced, given there was next to no dancing room. the music was that good. let's not even bother with the tribe turnout. i thought there were a lot out at seaman, but the turnout tonight put even that to shame. so many familiar faces, and a couple new ones, made the night that much better. i can't stress how much better a night is with great people around. everywhere i turned, even when i was lost at the front of the floor, i saw someone i knew, someone to go chat or dance with. just incredible really. it was really good to meet sunkist (finally), chrisD and kalemic.
cheers to everyone for a great night.
