NFL - Playoff Picture

Well, finally the first meaningful week in the NFL as far as the playoff picture is concerned.

Who do you think has fallen off the playoff wagon after losing this past weekend?

I'm personally xtatic that the Cowboys lost! Hopefully there final games prove to be too much for them and they fall right out of contention. I love the TUNA but they do not deserve to make the playoffs this year.

Could be bye bye Miami. They've got a tough Eagles team to face next Monday then off to cold, cold, cold, cold Buffalo right before
x-mas. We all know how Miami fairs in the cold. Brrrr....shyte!

Experts say we haven't seen the REAL RAMS yet?
Are the Vikings for real?
What's happenened to the Seahawks?
Carolina is about to win the NFC South?

If there is one thing for sure it's that the NFC is the weaker conference this year. The Superbowl should be won by a team from the AFC. I still think that team could be the BIG TIME SPOILERS...the Baltimore Ravens.

I must admit, the Ravens scare the shit out of me and I don't have to be on the field with them. Jamal & Ray Lewis are monsters.

Alright, I'm done. Anyone else?

Cheers,
Drury

Patriots all the way.

Indy looked good yesterday. Denver might be the suprise in the AFC. Not so sure about the Chiefs chances any more.

NC is wide open. Rams - Eagles probably play for the trip to the big game.

Miami is a perennial December choker, but yesterdays game was a hard fought one. That intercepted pass was ridiculous. They played pretty well. But let's face it, if you don't think that the Patriots are the team to beat overall, then you are crazy. Now that they are getting most of their players back from injury, they will be at least 2 players deep at every position. Both of whom will have seen significant playing time during the season. They are running that team like a college program and it is working perfectly. It fits the short-term business model of todays NFL..

My poor Chiefs. Lord, someone just take Greg Robinson out back and put him out of his misery. I pray that Vermiel has enough common sense to see that this guy just can't coach defense in the league. He was run out of Denver for a reason...he fucking sucks. That was so painful to watch yesterday, I felt like crying. There are so many good D coaches out there that can adjust their team accordingly. If Arizona finally puts Dave Mcguinness out of his misery, they need him desperately. Or mabybe Ray Rhodes. I think he would fit in perfectly. Just stop the friggen madness already.

Cinci lost a big one against the Ravens. But they'll be back. All the jokes and vitrolity spit at Ray Lewis is so boring. The guy is the best defender in the NFL hands down. Which brings me to Anthony Wright? Brian Billick is doing an unbelievable coaching job in Baltimore but gets little mention. The guy goes into the season with a rookie qb and still gets the wins.

Vikings, Rams and Seahawks are all pretenders. They'll get to the playoffs but are just practise dummies for the really good teams. I don't think the Cowboys will make the playoffs.

The team to beat in the NFC is obviously the Eagles.

An Eagles vs Patriots superbowl would be an epic battle

The playoffs are so close. I can almost taste it!

They deserve to win, if only for the method of celebration in the stands -- chucking handfuls of snow up into the air, and pelting Miami fans with snow- and ice-balls :)

That was too funny yesterday. Seeing all that snow being tossed in the air at the same time was quite amusing. Looks like th fans had a blast.

Now if the SuperBowl could be played outdoors, in a cold city, that would be fun to see.

Yea, the Cowboys are definitely fading fast, which I am incredibly ecstatic about. I do hope they make the playoffs, if only to see the Eagles run over them on their way to the Superbowl. :)

Cowboys-they are not as good as their record would indicate-they are just overacheiving

Rams-could explode at anytime with all their offensive weapons

Vikings-are they for real?yeah a decent offense and a shitty defense

Seahawks-are playing better than anyone expected, not going far though

Carolina-live and die with their D

My pick is a New England Philly superbowl which will probably be a yawner.im looking forward to a New England vs Indy AFC championship.

Brutal game from the Chiefs yesterday...Amazing game by Portis.

Broncos..meh, I dont think they are going to be able to pull those ones out on the road.

I think this year, the home field advantage is really going to be in those teams favors. NE, KC, IND, TEN, SEA, MIN, STL all need as many home games as they can get.

Man, Vick...what a guy. Falcons would be in there if he played the whole year.
