I like it that way. :)

Once you figure it out, it's exceptionally easy to use (i.e. global hotkeys)

Two questions for foobar users:

1) How can I control the volume in the new foobar without going into preferences?

2) How do I switch between the classic interface and the new interface? When I first installed the new foobar it gave me the open, but once I made a selection I have no idea how to switch back.

And I wish the slide bar is right on the interface without opening a separate component.

Of course. That has to do with file associations. If Foobar is associated with whatever file type, if you click on it in explorer it will launch. During installation you also have the option of adding right click context menu items like enqueue in foobar2k.

Global hotkey (keyboard shortcuts under preferences, checkmark global if you want to be able to punch in the hotkey even when foobar is minimized)

Display options under preferences. If there isn't anything other than default interface listed in the drop down, you might have left out the option to install other interfaces during installation.

And I wish the slide bar is right on the interface without opening a separate component.

Mine's on the interface? Dunno what you did here.

?

What library?

You can turn off foobar's internal database if you want.

fb2k is way more customizable than winamp -> that's one of the main reasons why people like it so much, you can pretty much change whatever you want to. the forum linked on foobar's site is a good resource for information on what you can do with it.
