Nepal Earthquake (April 2015)

The government of Canada is matching donations for the Nepalese earthquake that occurred on Sunday. I'm trying to figure out which charity to donate money to so that it'll be used properly and be the most direct...

Anyway, if you've been living under a rock for the past couple of days, a big earthquake happened in Nepal on late Saturday, and as of April 28th, 2015 the death toll is at 5,000. The country is super mountainous and the roads are pretty shoddy, typically with a cliff on one side, and a sheer drop on the other. Getting to many remote villages takes days of walking on foot.

It's a beautiful country and I spent weeks there before, and man... it really sucks to see this happen! Hopefully they pull through.
