hey there tribe. i have some family friends that are coming over from the former yugoslavia to spend some time with us in toronto. i want to show them what a great city toronto is but im finding it hard to find things to do. the son of the family likes basketball so i plan on taking them to a real live NBA game (GASP!) and theres always the possibility of a concert or something at the hummingbird center.

other than that tho (and the obvious cn tower) i cant think of anywhere else to take them! i want to do something fun like canadas wonderland but all of that is closed now.

does anyone have any suggestions? thanks in advance! :D

The Bata Shoe Museum.... ya I don't know about that, my family has been but not me.

Glow-in-the-dark mini-golf... you can't go wrong! :D

Dave & Buster's at Hwy 400 & 7.

Is Lion King still playing? How about supporting our IMAX theatre? Whiskey a go-go?

make sure you cover the following:

eaton centre
night clubs [guvernment might be good, ask her what kind of music she likes first of course]
basketball game they'd enjoy for sure
find out what kind of music they like and take them to a rock concert or something
take them to cool restaurants
feed them lots of steak and ribs and go to bars for chicken wings

they don't do some of this stuff in yugoslavia :0)

also alot of people in yugo LOVE rap but have never been to a "real" rap show ... you should try that too
