Josh Childress signs with Greek team Olympiakos for 3-year 20+ mil guaranteed!!

Quite interesting precedent being set as he is definitely the most talented NBA'er to jump ship thus far.

Playing in Greece sounds pretty sweet, he will likely dominate too. I like that the Euro leagues are making these splashy signings, will make NBA step up its game.

I'm really looking forward to the Olympic basketball. Team USA is going to be on a mission. Should be some good games.

Monta Ellis is one dumb mofo. He gets injured somehow (non basketball related) and is out for a few months, lies to the Warriors about the injury (after signing a brand new fat contract), gets caught about the lie, and now his new contract could get voided.

apparently a gerald wallace trade is imminent....
possible destinations include: GSW, POR, NYK

He would look purdy in a raps uni (moon, graham, money?) but is an injury liability and just signed a fairly fat contract.

any crash fans?

Moon, Graham, Money would only be a possiblity if they want to free up cap space - otherwise, the players being mentioned as possibilities going the other way (Harrington, Curry) seem like a better fit if I were the GM of Charlotte.

So apparently they have added H.O.R.S.E to the All-Star festivities. On a custom court that raises and lowers!

Kevin Durant unleashed a fury at the Rookie/Sophomore game last night, setting a record for most points in the game. A nice F-U for not getting included in the all star game. That kid is going to be one of the top 5 players in the nba in a couple years.

the first round of the dunk contest was embarrassing -- like you could argue it was fixed to have Howard and Robsinson in the final...how the hell did Howard get two 50s...the best dunks of the first round were Rudy Fernandez' - he got jobbed

How was the horse game? When I heard that was coming up, I thought that would be a welcome addition, however when I saw the highlights on sportscentre, the talking head was like "the winner of the first, and LAST, horse competition at the all star game...."

Didn't go over well, I take it?

apparently it took about 4 hours to play, and the shots weren't very inventive
