i already started getting back new bank cards, school ID's and stuff like that...but still..it is my wallet..despite the missing money..that feeling of violation knowing that someone has all your personal stuff is gone now. can't complain about that.

i dunno who returned it to me...i left the cab company my address and all that the couple times i called them looking for it...so when i got home from work last nite it was in the mailbox..so i dunno...and about the GST check..you can get them cashed at supermarkets and stuff like that..it is possible to cash someone elses...i guess they needed the money.

wouldn't they need to show id to cash a cheque?

you can call revenue canada and ask them to put a trace on the cheque to see if it's been cashed. it'll take a few weeks but money is money.

i just knew that someone cashed my gramma's GST check that way, im not sure if they showed ID or whatever.
