My Microwave Makes -no- Sense.

I'm trying to heat up a bowl of pasta.

The pasta won't heat up. Only the bowl gets SUPPPPER hot, but not whats inside the bowl.

MAKES.

NO.

SENSE.

I didn' t forget to feed the microwave elves, so it can't be that. I just want to eat my pasta.

my understanding is that microwaves make food hot by exciting energy levels in water molecules.

if the bowl is not microwave safe, or the pasta is really dry, then this will happen.

or if there is water in with the pasta (like cooking it in the microwave) then it is simply radiating heat into the bowl and the pasta needs more time to cook.

I'm just shocked cuz I LIVE off of this shit... i have pasta like this almost every day and it's never happened where the bowl gets stupid hot but not the pasta.

I've used this bowl and this kinda pasta/sauce a billion times before. Meh!
