My grandparents just got a computer!

I'm shocked.

Last night I built a new computer table for them, and hooked everything up. I showed them how to use email and the internet, and i'm surprised how well they are picking things up.....i mean, they're still absolutely clueless, but they are starting to get it.

I'm so proud of them!

I hooked my grandparents scanner up for them two weekends ago and now they're already emailing me their slide shows.

old people and tecnology.... I tell ya, what the world comming to?
It sure is a good thing that computers are just a passing fad and will be completely gone in a year or two.

My grandmère, having never used a computer before, got her first computer a few months ago.

It took her a while to learn how to use the mouse, but she is cathcing on quickly to most things.

Getting emails from her is awesome.

I sold my parents my old P2-266 about a year ago...
Instlaled Windows 98SE and Office and WinZip & WinAmp and let them have it...

Since then my dad's been e-mailing me dirty jokes all the time.

I've been getting email from my grandma for over a year now.
Beats my parents...they don't even have a computer?!? Sheesh...live in the NOW!
