my attempt at quitting the devil reefer.... FAILED !

as some of you know... (thanks for the wishes).. yesterday was my birthday... 26 years young.

I got really drunk in the early afternoon.. BBB.. no teasing... lol... anyhow.. while all squanked.. I decided it was time for this 12 year vet of the herb corp to kick the habit... (you know when you get drunk you get all proper n shit..) so... my friends and i came up with a plan. Smoke 26 joints throughout the day... and you'll be so sick and burnt out that you wont wanna zun anymore...

sooooooo..... it was around midnight when we got to number 18... there were 9 of us there... and we couldn't get past 18.. actually.. I was the only one who got past 15... and the last three were MURRRRRRDAAAAHHHH !

so... instead of getting sick and mashed up.. I fell asleep in my buddies car and woke up at like 3am. I was like... "YO... WAKE UP"... lol... there were 3 of us KO'd in his car.. lol.. on the fucking street... LOL

so... Im sore as ass right now.. my body ACHES... and I'm going out for a spliff.

The best critique Ive heard against smoking a lot of weed for a long time goes as follows: (Source: Ex-gf's father who was doing a lot of social work at the time)

15 years of smoking will result in,
15 years of dosing a similar brain stimulant
Therefore, THC becomes a constant in terms of the brain responding to stimulants.

And some have concluded that the person who smokes for this amount of time will almost be trapped into similar thinking patterns to when they first started smoking.

But dont we all catch ourselves from time to time of 'thinking in limbo' since the first time I picked up a spliff or even younger? For example, I still find the same shit funny since highskool.... :rolleyes:

Obviously this logic isnt concrete but it’s at least something to think about. Herb is pretty heavy medicine and I think this argument puts a lot of emphasis towards moderation

I've always said that I'll quit the day I stop getting excited about every spliff that touches these lips...well, I ain't even close to that and it's comin' on 8 years
