Music you've lost and can't find anywhere else

So I had a DJ Dickey Doo mixed CD that my friend borrowed. It was good mix from a night at "The World". Naturally, after my friend scratched the shit out of it, he then gave it back, borrowed it again, and then lost it.

There was a cheesy song on there that I can't find anywhere else that went something like this...

Walk the red carpet just to kill,
Live in a house in Beverly Hills,
Everyone knows just who you are,
You're such a superstar!

I've had decent luck recovering a few of the mixtapes that went missing from my DJ tape collection over the years, but one that eludes me is a DJ ESP/Cat In The Hat 1996 NYE mixtape.

It's not that it's a great tape, but it's the one that got away.

This immediately came to mind. It's not exactly the lyrics you posted, and probably isn't it, but just in case:

"You're a Superstar" - Love Inc. It was a pretty big hit in the 90's. I loved it. :)

Nope. The funny thing is I can't even find it with a lyric search, which usually does the trick. Nothing. Like it completely vanished.

Another one I can't find was a song my roommate played. It was a warm-up dance song to do something with getting ready to out. She sings about putting on lipstick, not to hold back, etc. He'd aways play it while getting ready to go out, of course.

Excel - TechnoFresh

90 min tape that started out with Beyer & Lenk's Drumcode 1 release. Well selected, nicely mixed techno. I'd love to have it again.

Marcus Visionary CD/tape from back in the day of all early 2000's girly vocal d&b called "Amber's Special Surprise" or some shit, for some chick named Amber that worked at Numb.

All I remember is a friend playing me that CD a few times and I loved the mix and have been trying to track it down forever. Think I asked Marcus once and even he didnt have a copy.

two compilations:

"For Friends" compilation - so much good weirdness, I only had it for a short time, and I can't remember the name of my favourite track...haven't heard it since. Here are a couple from the 'tubes:
