I saw it a while ago, I think it's funny that all the videos he trashes the most are the ones that were most popular with the viewers.

A lot of people at Much Music must have a hard time working for that station, since I would imagine most of them agree with Ed but are forced to carry on like the videos are pure gold because they're the big moneymakers.

btw, fromage xx was really good when it first came out 'cuz they would show some weird assed video from the 80's. now they just make fun at basically every top 40 video out there in the past year. which is alright considering most of them are shite anyways.

best video i've seen recently is marilyn manson's sweet dreams. it totally makes fun of the bling bling hip hop videos out there. including goth girls shaking their booty and marilyn with the platinum caps on his teeth and skull bling around his neck.

the best was the year Biz Markie won with the video that featured him sitting on a toilet... 'Just a friend' may have been the one.

this year the highlite was the nsync video when he asked 'Where's your girlfriend Brittney's virginity?'

Really? I saw it as another cheap grab to shock people by jumping on the current bandwagon but going in the opposite direction. I think Ed was pretty accurate when he said Marilyn Manson can't keep shocking people with the same crap, it gets boring.

Manson may be incredibly smart, but he seems to be getting lazy. Then again, he has enough money to be as lazy as he wants, so he can go right ahead.

i guess if you see it that way - then, yes. i thought it was a total jab at the BlingBling videos, which made it humourous. but it's true that marilyn can no longer "shock" us anymore and has fallen into the depths of normalcy.

deep: you hardly win - at $5 per 'job' and considering you're a poo' ass student, i'd call it a win-win situation.

Saw it a couple of weeks ago, it was pretty funny. Especially with Ed's formula for Backstreet Boys videos. Seeing those videos did remind me why I don't watch Much Music on a regular basis.
