moving to Leeds anybody now what the area is like

I Have recently been accepted on a university exchange to Leeds in england. I was wondering if anybody has ever been there or knows what it is like.

Be prepared to have an awesome time. My cousin lives there. Its like a cool version of K/W a university town but be prepared to drink! :)

cool thanks guys now i dont feel so bad about my girlfriend of 2 years breaking up with me cause i am leaving. I knew I was going to have fun but for the past 2 days i was wondering if it was worth my relationship. However there is only 1 leeds and 1 oppurtunity like this in life and there are plenty of women in the world and if what you said was true about it being better than montreal then I think i made the right choice.

hey does anybody know what the predominant genere of music people listen to in england is. please tell me uk hard house I guess they wont call it uk hard house mind you i suppose just hard house.

I was there when I was in high school and really enjoyed it. I was too young for clubs (15) but the bars were a good time.

Boo's comment about it being like a cool version of K/W is a good description.

God i remember how scared i was when i first got there and the thrill of being in a new country. That and when i couldnt understand what all the scoucers and geordies where saying to me
