Music is good if you are car camping. If you are real camping, it's better to listen to crickets. If car camping, I'm suggesting:

Orbital: Brown Album

Car campers need to be shot.

It seems to be an excuse for assholes to form together like voltron, destroy everything around them and then leave all their garbage when they're done.

The last camping trip we took our "neighbours" were about 7 cars, 3 ATV's, and some dirt bike's... Nothing like getting into nature, and destroying it for everyone else.

Our neighbours on the other side luckily had been kicked out I think, but they still managed to leave a huge blue tarp (10x10) full of stuff they trashed, lawn chairs, bags of shit, broken tents, the mound of garbage was massive.

I didn't think the car-"camping" could be worse than in rural ontario, then I found out, its the same in rural areas around Canada...

Oh the shame...

sad but true. even when i was hiking the height of the land trail around wakami lake, a very remote 75km trail in northern ontario, i ran into evidence left behind by asshats on atvs. there's an old cart trail the runs in from highway 129, that they will travel on almost 50km to get to wakami lake. then, judging by the evidence, they get drunk and leave their cans and bottles behind. it was sad because the scenery up there (near chapleau) is stunning and pristine. i go on these hike to get away from society for a while, not be reminded of it by seeing trash lying around. if i could of packed their trash out, i would of, but i still had 50km to hike, and 35lbs on my back. i let the rangers office know, and they said they do a run along the cart trail a couple of times a season and would clean it up. i don't bring music when i go on these expeditions.

cottages i bring lots of tunes.

A former friend (and by that meaning I haven't seen him in awhile), gave me 2 discs.. Called 'Ultra'. I believed he compiled the music. I don't have a host so I can't upload them anywhere... It's relaxing, loungy electronic that is perfect to read to when we're camping. Awesome stuff.. Of course later on it's the campfire (no music), but it helps if you have yahoos blaring metallic in the neighbouring site..

One of the tracks is a Dido mix.. So great..

Depends on the neighbour. We just turn the CD player, with our music, towards us a buffer..:O
