Anyone know of grocers in town specializing in supplies for Mexican or Latin dishes? The search at St Laurence Market was fruitless.

Yea, Kensington. There's a place on the east side of Augusta that has the best hot sauce. Cheap too for such a big bottle.

the manchego is for these mexican crepes that are made with corn fungus and epazote in this restaurant in chicago, but are made with shiitake mushrooms and cilantro here (since we can't get the corn fungus).

i'm kind of glad we can't get the corn fungus.

and the cojito is for a very spicy good dip. but they didn't have any so the guy from sheffler's gave us this hard spanish goat cheese as a substitution.

it was pretty fuckin good though. it was for kristen's birthday.
