Men: your sentiments about tall women

Are you intimidated or turned off by tall women? (ie 5'8+) I've always gone out with taller men because I am 5'9ish myself, but as I pass men shorter than me at work, or on the subway or wherever, I wonder.

I just bought a pair of gorgeous 3 inch stiletto boots, but now I feel freakish walking around in them...

and although I do like a tall girl.... i've a special affinity for short ones.... 5'2 5'3... 5'4.... etc

All I can say is, for god's sake, stand up straight. A tall woman with good posture is very attractive. A tall woman slouching is brutal.

Taller is better, simply for ergonomic conerns. If she's super duper tall there's the fantasy she could be more than I can handle (which is a really exciting thought)

Of course I've only ever been with grils shorter than me so my fantasy may not be realistic

Height is the last thing I would think of being a deciding factor when dating someone.

Maybe if she was 6'4" or something ... maybe....

I dated a girl 5'9" for about 3 years, so I dont' think height is an issue at all. Although I didn't like when she wore big boots and was taller

I am 5'8, my bf is 6'1, and he says when he met me he was kinda intimidated cause I seemed taller to him then. I don't hesitate to wear 3 inch heels, but I suppose if I was dating a shorter guy I would be self-conscious about it.

I think girls get too hung up on height. I know that short girls (below 5'5) are also worried about their height.

Guys like girls with confidence. I don't think they really think about the height thing unless they are insecure themselves.

I would die for long legs. Mine are short and stumpy and its hard to find pants that aren't too long.

all my girlfriends have been in the 5'1'' to 5'4'' range.

It's because they show it more than taller girls.

I will say though that it's one thing to be tall (5'7-5'10) and another thing to be TALL (above 5'10). I had a model friend who was at least 6'1 and she had a hard time meeting guys. I bet even most tall guys would have a hard time dating very tall girls because it makes them feel less masculine.

I'm saying this because I know for even 5 foot tall girls, that a guy's height is usually important, and they would prefer someone taller than average.

I remember going to the Elite modeling finals and our guy friends were so shocked at how tall all the girls were. Someone told me that the male models need to be a few inches at least taller than the girls to keep it balanced, because ppl don't like seeing the girls taller than the guys. I don't know if this is going to change any time soon.

When my gf wears boots she is almost as tall as I am. Doesn't bother me at all.

I know some girls who are really specific about height. They like taller guys b/c it makes them feel smaller. I could really care less how tall a guy is. I've dated guys at all different heights. I'm not sure how i would feel dating someone who was shorter than me but I'm only 5'-5" so its never really been an issue.
