I resisted the urge this morning.
When I go through the PATH from Union to the subway in the morning, I pass the outside vents by the McDonald's, and I can smell the hash brown grease. Sickest smell ever. I think it's turned me off MD breakfast....nah. It hasn't.

I'm just glad that someone other than me rained on this parade....can a company be truely evil? Be smart consumers and do some research...MDs has a huge negative global imact. Nestle is a close second.
nestle isn't really much of a company. they are owned entirely by Lipton-Unilever. LU is the real polluters with their soap and detergent making and million different brands of preprocessed food (ragu, old el paso, ....).
yes, yes, mcdick's is evil. but their hasbrowns taste good.

Wow, some folks beat me to the punch on this... Mcdonalds is horrible for the global impact of their offering and the way they treat their animals, but on a truly selfish note, don't eat that shit because it's just that - SHIT.
The idea that the marketing machine that is Mcdonalds has made generations of families "reward" their children with a trip to eat low-grade food that destroys the earth to produce, and that has completely negative implications on health is a testament to how easily people are manipulated... just walking by a Mcdonalds makes me want to vomit!

I was passing through Union this morning and they were filming a McDonald's commercial by grabbing innocent bystanders and making them stand beside the dememted Ronald himself.
They had music in the background and cue cards "There's a little McDonalds.....In everyone!" so the poor bastard people could sing along with the red-afro'd demento.
I was soooooo fucking temped to just run up behind him, whip his 'fro off and run for the hills.

Yeah, it's completly vomitous, but to be honest I actually hold my breath as I walk by to avoid it.
