well i started to write this review on sunday morning, but couldn't find the words to express how incredible this party was on Saturday...so i left it, until after Christmas Turkey & boxing day festivities to get down to my humble opinions on this event...

Max totally ripped Turbo apart, & after a great night on friday, can't believe i had this much fun (again [IMG] )...the entire crowd was really into the party & i would have to say this night was Max at his best (totally playing to the crowd; jumpin around the booth)...the track selection was one of those; "turn your head, & give that look of "what a f*ckin wicked track" go back to dancing, next mix, turn head again & say "what a f*ckin wicked track" & repeat for the entire set..."

i was only able to pick up a few traxx, but Max is so wicked @ bringing the music down, & then kickin' it up another level again & again & again...

i realize this isn't the best of reviews, but hope i conveyed to you the great vibe & feeling that was Turbo on Saturday night...lookin forward to many more weekends like the past one...great music & great people (to all the fab tbkers i met on friday & to all the great friends who came out on Saturday)...

    gettin' ready for y2k1

    cheers, jc

If anyone grabs the new DJ mag, Top 100 DJ's issue you will see that Max just missed cracking the list and came in 108, ahead of Roni Size, Junior Vasquez, Billy Nasty, Terry Francis, CJ Mackintosh etc.

'Twas a banner year for Max, a great DJ and a real classy guy. Glad he didn't disapoint this weekend

I had an amazing time at this event (apparently more than usual as I started dancing on the box in a skirt, what was I on?) My friends, who never hit clubs, had a great time.

Max is purely consistent. I had the same reaction of looking at the stranger next to me going, did he just do that? did he really just drop that phat beat? I can't believe he did that!

the best way to describe his best asset is kinda like you're about to orgasm from the sound, then he just breaks it down, completely leaving you hanging, but teasing you for more. The guy next to me actually tried to comfort me by saying, "it's alright, he'll start up again soon.." It's like why people do tantric, 'cause a consistent state of just about reaching the peak is supposedly better than reaching it temporarily...
