Alright, Marco V is finally back in Canada!

If you haven't heard him before his unique blend of hard driving trance, tech trance and hardstyle should NOT be missed!

Last time I heard him was DanceValley 2003 where he played an amazing set!

I'll be out in full force for this one, who's with me?

I thought he played very well at Guvernment back in June, so I'm definitely looking foward to more of the same on Saturday. I enjoy his style because it rarely gets too cheesy and it's always danceable.

Havent heard marco v since global gathering over the summer. He was really good mind i thought everyone was really good that night.

That's never the case at the GUV,

BUT....

....for Aria to be empty! speaks volumes... the Quebexican's know there music......so do the Dutch by the way.... (never think that they don't)

.... But the Teisto's, Marco's and Van Burren's, of the music world give the real talent in Holland a certian stigma...

Like, dutch cheese , and I don't mean Gouda... I meant DUTCH CHEESE

I dunno. On one hand, Kool Haus is a larger venue ... but on the other hand, that "big party sound" is often better suited to Guvernment with its top-notch sound and lighting. Also, I'm not sure Marco V is popular enough in Toronto to support his own special event in Kool Haus.

I really don't care that it's in the Guvernment.

Sure, I don't like the Guv crowd, and yes its packed in there... But big deal! The Guv has the best sound, and the best atmosphere by far. It's "cozy" in there and always good for adventures and changes of scenery. Being able to chill in the Acid Lounge, wander around... Kool Haus is just one big room and seems so sterile.

I'm going there for Marco V and his amazing tunes. I could give a crap who else is there :) I usually zone out during a good set anyway... I wont even be thinking about what's around me :p

I am sorry, best atmosphere? Cozy? What part of Guvernment are you talking about, because these are the main reasons why many people don't go there.

Anyhow, this is a roll call, not a bashing of the club... so I won't continue.

Misstress Barbara

He played at Misstress Barbara a couple of weeks ago. My booty couldn't stop moving from the moment he came on. The beats are extremely hard, and for a few people there was mention that it was a little excessive. Definitely not for those on a mellow vibe:eek:

Do they play similar styles of music?

I'm going to Marco V for a friend's b-day, I hope it's enjoyable as people have expressed. I was really disappointed last week-end at Danny Howells; Koolhaus was half empty, and he was too slow for my taste. I was told that he was really funky, and hard.

Anyway, I guess I'll download some tracks to get an indication :p

Any suggestions of good mixes?

Shockers 2003 is a good recent one.
I have about 15 mixes on CD in my car =)

That still pales in comparison to my Tiesto collection... I have a whole CD book dedicated to Tiesto thats been growing since 1999 :p

Marco V's tunes are usually hard, driving trance with a hint of melody.
