i hope they don't show them at all....i find that avoiding a visual guess as to what they look like makes for more suspense and greater effect

Agreed. Films like Alien (the first one, not the sequels), Predator, The Blair Witch Project and even Session 9 all maintained their fear factor by either not showing the creature, or showing it at the very last possible moment. Your imagination will come up with something hundreds of times more frightening than anything Rob Winston or any other special effects or creature effects team could ever come up with.

From the Minsitry of I think Night's smart enough to know this, he's a very smart and very knowledgeable filmmaker.
