I found the begining of the second book pretty boring......I got back into it by the end of the book though.......

I gotta start reading the third book.......it's been sitting in my bag for 2 months.

when i read the two towers years ago, i thought it was a boring book...however when i reread it about 2 years ago, it was my favourite...lots of great character development, & amazing story advancement...i'm really looking forward to this movie...

They showed a tiny bit of the trailer on the Tee Vee yesterday (about 5 seconds worth). I could be wrong but I thought I saw a scene from chapter 4 in the THIRD book - the siege Of Gondor... ??? A *HUGE* battle scene, with a bunch of guys trying to scale a city wall with ladders, and dark clouds overhead... I wouldn't be surprised as they did the same thing where they took a scene from the second book and stuck it at the end of the first movie.
