With the studio that released it being New Line. I'd be very surprised if they bothered to do a 4 disc set. It's something that hasn't been done for a single feature, and I think they'd be hard pressed to give up features and details about the first film that would warrent 4 DVD's worth of material. I could see it being used for the entire series, once all completed, but for one feature? I can't really see it happening.
Also, New Line has been on of the studios that has prided itself on releasing top notch DVD's and a double DVD is the most they've done so far (for Boogie Nights, Seven and Magnolia). A 4 DVD package makes the release price a bit too high for the average consumer, which is who their target audience is, squarely. The Criterion triple DVD release of Brazil is on average over a hundred dollars, and even without all the licensing fees and extra costs that drives Criterion prices up anyways, the DVD's would've still cost somewhere in the neighbourhood of $60 each if a major studio had released them.
From the Ministry of I can see a double DVD release for the first feature, but not a 4 DVD release. Double DVD is still within the average price range of the average DVD buyer. 4 is not.
