I wasn't out very long but man was I ever surprised to see "The Stomper" there. That man is seriously ol' skool! I used to love seeing him at parties. He's the older guy with bald head who dances his ass off in front of the front speakers at parties. I haven't seen him in ages! Other than that, I was only there for a few minutes so I can't comment on the music, though what I heard sounded pretty good.

Good times last night! Despite the fact that most people (myself included) do not have a holiday today, the turnout was still pretty good.
Got there at around 11:00, caught the end of Dave Saddler's set, which I was diggin. It's nice to hear him gradually entering nu school territory. Then D-Monic was next. His set was pretty good as well. Hyper went on at 1:00, and was dropping some serious bombs! For the first 45 minutes or so of his set, I think I only recognized one single track, which is pretty good seeing as I work in a record store. The first half of his set was absolutely sick! The second half was pretty good as well, but I guess he exausted his supply of promos and dubplates and was playing more of the crowd favourites. The crowd was definitely into it though, which is the bottom line. Up next was Freq Nasty who I had the pleasure of talking to for a bit prior to his set. His hair is just insane. You really have to see it in person to fully appreciate the girth of his dreads. Anyway, he was playing shit all over the map. I definitely did not expect him to play as much funk as he did... but I guess someone tipped him off about Toronto's infatuation with funky breaks. The crowd was definitely more into Freq's set than Hyper's due to the added funk factor. I missed Chu's set cuz I was too tired to stick around, and I had to be up for work n' stuff... All in all, good times were had.
I was quite impressed with the crowd last night. There were a lot of hardcores out who had to be up early this morning, yet they still made it out and represented. I can't wait for the next breathe breaks event which will be on a Friday this time. The line up of upcoming breathe events looks utterly insane! Respect.

well i was insanely loaded lastnight! I was rather disappointed with the turn-out, but the music was still kick-ass. a fun night, and fun drunken antics! post more later.

FREQ!!!!!
Freq Nasty killed it... He was wicked... I haven't actually busted out in full dance mode in a long ass time... but I sure was dancing lastnight.. OMG.... it was fun... Freq played WICKED tracks... Best set of the nigh by far... but Hyper was pretty good too... I liked him in Hamilton better... I was diggin the Breaky/house that i hear from him...
It was fun chillin in the back corner (for all those nosey assed people who just HAVE to know what's goin on im my life, on the personal tip) HAHA!!! Definitely FUN!! You "People Magazine" Reading M*tha fucka's... LoL

Anyhow, good nite aswell as shitty.
Music was good, people were good, saw some old friends.
Crowd was kinda lacking.
Seeing people u dont wanna see doesnt make ur nite so great tho.
