looking for an apartment

anybody live in a building with vacancies that have 1 bedroom apartments for under $950.00 in a non-crackhead neighborhood. i would prefer it to be somewhat close to downtown along a subway line. any help would be appreciated.

i know, currently i live in a one bedroom 850 sq foot apartment for about $940 including 2 parking spots. i'm fully expecting to move into something quite a bit smaller.

Montreal sublet 2months


In Montreal I am subletting my room for 2 months- $275/month (may and june) ! In the Plateau 1/2 block south of Mont Royal, east of the metro (Mont Royal station).

It's a sweet place, very large. To share with 4 other people...
They are students...

And, I am guessing you are in Toronto- but I was shocked to see the price differences in Montreal. For 900$/month you can have a condo or really large and nice place- for 1 person!

My building might have an apartment available... 1 bedrooms go for about $950 I think, not including parking which is $60 a month... it's right downtown, jarvis & college... the 1 bedrooms are quite a good size, not cramped at all... it's a good building, great super's/management... pm me if you're interested and i'll give u the details...
