Well I remember there being a fairly big thread for/about London kids at the beginning of the year..but I'm sure with all the new members there have to be some new ones.

Especially right now, with very few events in London for us electronic music lovers, I feel like there's nobody left here?

So c'mon...where are all you people? and who are you? (if I don't already know you..or even if I do know you...lets be london snobs...er somethin like that)

yeah. London is kinda hurting now.
with the whole Club 181 thing going down the crapper, and the Rage being pretty much the only club with electronic music, I've been keeping a low profile locally.

so what is everyone doing to keep their sanity?

Hey what's the deal with the Rage/Ichabods/CoreFX?

A friend of mine from high school (I'm a former Londoner ) has me booked to play there a few times in the next few months on Saturdays and I don't have a clue what to expect.

Since the closing of lush, the scene in London has been soooo shaky. It's getting better - especially with the success of the Uber Party, Greenfields.

However, it would be nice to have a 19+ venue, such as Lush, to chill at every weekend. I have nothing against teenagers, but I wish there were more of a "mature" scene in London. (And no, I don't mean the Cougars at GTs!!!)

well, the Rage is London's biggest sketchpad.
an after hours bar with the rampant drug use normally associated with after hours clubs.

if I'm correct, Ichabods used to be the Core, so here's the skinny on that.
wednesday's they had a jungle night, which I think is now a hip hop/jungle night.
other than that I'm pretty sure it is a hoochie-based club, but Im not too sure about that.

Club 181 had potential to be something cool (with the reliable house stylings of G-Boogie and Jo Jo), but then turned into a gay bar.

Bacchus Lounge is alright for a nice chillin' atmosphere with really cheesy oldskool funk house, but it loses its charm.
personally, Mercury Lounge is my favourite spot.
good tunes, good people, great bartenders, and comfy couches.

oh, and yeah, Algorythm will be at the Mercury Lounge this Saturday with Nitin and a few others.
it's $7 at the door (which is kinda weird to see a cover at Merc, but it sounds pretty dope for those who ar techno fans).
