LF: Accountant

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows any accountants or bookkeepers that are available for hire in the downtown area.

I'm not at the point that I need a full time accountant, but I'd like someone to help me setup quickbooks with the proper accounts and teach me how to do things properly with regards to the day to day stuff.

Usually Accountants/bookkeepers dont like to teach you to do thier job.
I worked for an accountant in Barrie last winter and we got tons of people calling cause they wernt sure what to put in colum b.

sure it's confusing but when you're using quickbooks it's not, debits and credits don't matter

if you passed 1st year uni in accounting, all the simple stuff should be a breeze

if you can't find anyone, the manual should help alot

Most smaller CA firms have someone on hand who can go on-site and teach a client how to get set up with Quickbooks, but hourly charge rates can be a killer.
