Last nite at Casino Rama for a work-related event I found myself in the audience for the Ringo Starr and his all-stars concert.
I was expecting to be in snooze mode for the duration of the show. But this was not to be - mainly because of the amazing all-star, Sheila E - the beautiful and talented fomer Prince band drummer.
Sheila grabbed the spotlite for some truly mind-blowing drum solos, playing with such intensity, finesse and passion that my eyes welled up with tears. I couldn't help myself - such a beautiful woman creating such explosive percussion, a brilliant smile on her face all the while. After the show some of my colleagues who noticed my reaction had a chuckle at my expense. I'm just wondering if anybody else has reacted this way music that moves them.
