What!!!??? No big-ups for me Janice? I'm totally offended. *pouts*

Amazing night. Been looking forward to another one of this man's set for a long time now, and he was certainly worth the wait.

His set consisted of his usual hard-driving basslines, tribal drums and disco-funk loops. The dude played a lot of tracks on white label, including a few remixes he produced himself.

His technique, as per usual, was Sneak-style sloppyness but purely effective. On many occasion I saw him toss a track down, find the start (by watching the channel level) starting it and bringing the channel fader straight up - worrying about beat-matching it on the fly.

And for the most part, he did a pretty damned good job of it. Oh, and his classic sneer was seen on his face for most of the night as he pounded back Smirnoff Ice.

Haven't danced so hard since he played New Year's at Turbo. Thanks to everyone who was there, Craig Pettigrew (coming through for us once again) and the man himself - LaFleche.

Finch.

watched him for about 10 minutes right before i was about to leave and saw him do exactly what Finch said. it was kind of funny but the house was good.

was it me or was there an overabundance of bitchy, skanky people walking around last night? from the minute i got in line, it was like i was surrounded by assholes.

it was a nice end to a great night...i started off at jill scott/erykah bhadu concert which was off the hook...jill scott puts on a wicked show...full of charisma and show-womanship...

then ended up at limelight for some tight beats and lotsa drinks....maybe a few too many...had to call in sick today...oh well...

for somereason i saw many 'celebrities' last night...eric lindros walking down the street...kardinal just chilling at the concert w/ many women flocking around him...and erik koston chilling on the roof of limelight...

I had such a wikkid time! Well from what i remember anyways. A little too many drinks were consumed on my part, but don't regret one of them

I totally forgot all about lafleche and didn't venture to the house room (xcept for the bathroom). The 2nd floor was kickin' ass as always, man it's always about the breakz. Wikkid ppl. out lastnight!

Again, Limelight was a good topper to the sign making gig. After a night of drinking Revs and trying to conjure up witty slogans that weren't political (since I'm not an avid supporter), it was good to go and drink more and to dance to something a little funky.

I thought Limelight was actually quite dead compared to usual. The rooftop was full of troublemakers, of course. And Jeremy was it? I still owe you another drink for dunking Ritika. She DID knee you in the balls right?

Oh right, you don't have a computer.

Anyway, LaFleche was alright actually. I was really happy the he dropped a little Gusto too. Much appreciated because it's such a classic song.

I hear that. Though they didn't give me any trouble (or anyone else that I could see) they kept eyeing people up and giving them the dirtyest of looks.

But fuck that - they never got between me and the beats.

i don't know what was wrong with me that night, but i couldn't really get into it. maybe all the marker fumes from the sign making party got to my head. but wait, shouldn't that have made my night better?

I left Tall Paul to at least catch a glimpse of LaFleche...

Didn't stay too long....but kudos for rocking that break beat track..."Sunglasses At Night" with the augmented Cory Heart vocal.

Even Kenny Glasglow cracked a big smile!
