Knocking Somebody Out

I was just curious,if somebody put their hand onto you while calling you names,can you drop them like a bad habbit ,then just call it self defense?

Reason me is asking,I just came from the Morningside mall laundry place to do my cleaning.I went into the coffee shop just just a few doors down,there was this street bum in there who I've seen around,as I was walking out of the coffee shop he starts calling me a fag LOL for no reason,i didn't even look at the guy while I was in there.

So as I just mind my own business,he follows me outside still calling me a fag and wants to fight.I just ignored him and went back in the laundry place,he just went back into the coffee shop.

If he pushed me or tap on my shoulder would I be safe from assault charges?

I was just thinking maybe now that it's cold outside,he wants to live in the hospital for awhile where it's warm,free food,and get's a bath.

Maybe Patrick has seen this guy ,he rides a bike all around the Mornigside area.He actually looks like the way Saddam does.lol

I've seen him do this to another guy at the petro gas station at the bottom of Morningside and Ellesmere.So he's a regular in the area.

I would just love to give him a spinning back elbow to the jaw.I don't care about the part of getting called a fag,it just pisses me off that he would try to test me.

does he look filipino ? cuz if so... then yeah. I've been seeing that guy in the area for over ten years now. I've never seen him cause any problems though... usually just rummaging through the garbage.

Nope, he looks like a middle eastern type of fella,grey long beard,long hair in the back,he wears a black winter hat all the time , and rides a bike.

I always see him in the Morningside and Kingston rd area.

yeah, I don't really think he's trying to test you so much as he's extremely mentally ill, and he doesn't judge situations as well as the next guy. just because he's yelling offensive things at you, doesn't necessarily mean he wants to fight you and he thinks you're a giant poon for not standing up to him. he's probably just yelling because everyone ignores him anyway.

he's obviously a sick man, just move on if there's nothing you can do for him.

Who knows maybe it was the clothes that I was wearing,they were clean!!

This guy didn't seem to far gone,he was talking to some lady across from him before he started to mouth off.He looked to be in his early 40's.

During the summer I saw him do this to another guy at a gas station.The other guy just did what I did,walk away then the bum just rode off into the sunset.

One day he'll say it to the wrong guy and it'll be lights out.

Like I said above I didn't care that he was calling me a fag, cus I know it was just bait.

I meant he might say it to somebody with a bad temper,somebody who thinks with their fists instead of their brain.
