Kicked out of Bars

It's occurred to me so often that I forget how regular people feel. Not that I approve of regular people, but...

I keep my chin in my hand as the Taxi is driving down King Street, and I recount to either myself, or my sister, or the driver if I feel so inclined,

me> "Ah yes, I'm kicked out of there...."
me> "And yes there too, please don't take me there..."
me> "Ah sadly, that was a good place, but don't take me there.."

At first, it might seem as if the Chinese have something against me. There's no doubt they've been the first to kick me out. Perhaps it's just because they're the most feisty...

me> "Can I get another bottle of wine?"
Louis> "Maybe I should ask...."
deep> "Just give him a bottle."
Lady> "You call me bitch again I kick you out!"
Me> "Bitch."

So I was walking after that.

I reminded me of hot-pot.

me> "Can I have a (Labatt's) blue please."
Chinese man> "This is not a bar."
me> "I'm just here for dinner, I've been here before."
Chinese man> "Are you going to eat?"
me> "Yeah man, your son is on my facebook..,?"
Chinese man> .....

well at some point Chad and I ended up singing Celine Dion.

Oh and they take away all our food.

Chinese boy> "Would you sing that anywhere else?"
Chad> "Yeah actually probably"
Chinese man> "Get out of restaurant!"

Well I called both of them chinks and to this day still have no idea why we were kicked out. Unlike the corner pub,

I can't really piece together what happened. They claim I called the wench a bitch, then pissed on the wall, which I did do. A sad story to a small place.

On the upside, if you ever come to KW, please go to the Ren@41, a lovely lounge where I am tolerated despite my problem's with the owner's GF. Not cheap, but highly recommended. On Thursday's they have a Cellist.

Why, would you mind?
I'm not exactly sure what you mean....

There is a Portuguese restaurant near my house. The attendant his name is "Tony". There is also a lovely lady who works there, she, actually, is from Brazil, but you can understand the Portuguese connection.

When I walk in, (actually I always take a taxi), they sit me at a particular table and then fill me a glass of Jaegermeister. I enjoy this service, as I needn't ask.

Ah yes, it can be said, that they overdo the service, as anyone can say, they don't need a bottle of Jaegermeister before they even order lunch. Or breakfast.

A kind gentleman pinches my cheek. I smile.

Good friend of mine got kicked out the bar last night and honestly it was a huge relief.

Guy showed up wasted and was being a total pain in the ass.

But I put him in a cab home.

I've never been kicked out of a bar. Not even close.

Who was it the got so loaded that he got up on the bar at B Side and began stripping before being escorted out, and subsequently ended up with alcohol poisoning after drinking everything at System and Keg Mansion during the late 90's?

It wasn't me but I'd surely like to meet this chap.

Strangely, I've never had alcohol poisoning. I mean, they've hooked me up to IV and B vitamins and lorazepam, and locked me up a few times, but... never have they actually said it was poisoning.

My piece of advice -- a true boozer, that is to say a successful one, always has at least one flavour of benzodiazepine kicking around and some B vitamins.

I'm hopeful; And you can understand why I must be careful if nothing further is confirmed nor denied about it all.

Multi B - complexes are usually on hand in 50/75/100 mg dose.

I hear clonazepam is really strong.

we were at the dive bar watching the winter classic until like fucking midnight, and we had a $200 bar bill.

I was like what the fuck, and I'm leaving. Only twice I was run down on the street by a bartender who didn't know better. Okay pay that shit, in bed for the next two. We didn't pay for half of those dozen shots. the lady had half removed before an accordance was settled.

Fuck. we found some peeps, we did the chest pounding from wolf of wall street. They were so young, then some old irish guy out of know where comes in. some speeches were said, and there was a blackout involved.

bum bum bum.

The bartender was genuinely.
A. retarded.
B. didn't know when to cut people off.
C. charged us for everyone else's beer after awhile. To the tune of maybe $50.

either way. It's an illegal stance. You can't serve folks who are standing on the bar and making speeches.

Oh on second thought that was me. Dinner cost me $700. Hey when a drunk guy offers free dinner for everyone, order the Lobster! YAY Lobster for all! I could barely get up the steps to the washroom but they didn't cut me off. Now that's class.

But I didn't get alcohol poisoning, I just got a ride back to Kitchener and things kept rolling..

roooolllllliinnngggg....

In the emergency room, at least in KW, they seem to prefer lorazepam, I'm not sure the dose, but often they'll give you two pills under the tongue and then wait three hours or so and see if you need more.

Mind you they never said I had poisoning, but when I was hospitalized, the first time, the prescribed alprazolam, which is Xanax. This stuff is quite nice and the same buzz/come-on as lorazepam but it doesn't last as long. I'm not really sure how long lorazepam lasts as I only took it in the hospital, but Xanax/alprazolam works for about 3 or 4 hours.

Because of that short time, I was prescribed to take it every 4 hours. This interfered with my sleep, when you obviously cannot take pills.

Enter clonazepam. The psychiatrist put me on these with the explicit warning that I'll have to take them forever. Much like smoking.

The half life is 52 hours so now I only need to take it twice daily. I stop taking it when I'm drinking, and do take it when I'm not drinking.

It's true that it's very strong but because of that the actual dose is much less. Whereas you can take 10mg of Valium and be good for 4 hours, clonazepam you take 1mg and it lasts 24-52 hours with the same general effect.

The downside is trying to refill your prescriptions; there are a lot of new laws around this type of med and that makes it difficult every month to get what you need.

Unfortunately I'm addicted to this and it's openly known when psychiatrists prescribe it that the patient will become addicted quickly. Which is fine, as the addiction problems are much less than the problems without. In fact, provided I have an uninterrupted supply, there are no side effects or problems.

However if for whatever reason, ie. laws or doctor not available because of holidays etc., that I can't refill my dose, things get fuckin ugly pretty fast. Well, within about 2 days. I can go two days without feeling withdrawal from clonazepam. After that things degrade quickly, look up benzodiazepine withdrawal. It can be substituted with alcohol but that obviously doesn't go over well.

You and I are similar in many ways, I reckon. Yet different at the same time. This is a good thing.

Is A|prazo|am less addictive?

And for the record, I'm not saying I put the keg mansion on my plastic and pocketed everyone's money (~650$ or closer to 700$?) only to spend it frivolously at the B Side and System later that night and get what was likely alcohol poisoning, but I suppose almost anything is possible.

Someone was serenaded after being dropped off by not one but 2 lovely ladies that night. The next day that person wanted cheeseburgers bad, and was sent home from worked for being "under the weather/not themselves."

Mmm, yes and no. It's more addictive in much the way that tobacco is addictive. It starts to work almost right away but then quickly tapers off leaving you feeling a bit sketchy and looking forward to the next dose.

Clonazepam works for such a long time that you don't get highs and lows just one smoooooooth ah... "buzz"? It's not really a buzz because after a while you just forget what it's like to not be on clonazepam and everything just feels normal.

The downside though is that if you don't keep taking those pills every day or so that it will start to wear off and then you get nastygram sketch feeling. It can also be fatal ie. induce seizures and coma similar to delirium tremens -- but I think you have to be taking a lot for that to happen.
