Kenny Glasgow at Fever!
Well it didn't seem like fever but it was???
Fever is improved now but it will take some time till I can feel like home.
Kenny had a good set and the Breaks were solid. Fun night but nothing special.

I got dragged out to Hamilton for the first time tonight, and Fever was surprisingly good. The crowd seemed a little weird.... what was up with everyone dancing facing away from the DJ? Especially since he was right there, set up at a table on the floor level... weird.

The breaks were also very solid.

Unfortunately when I got back to my car I found my entire back windshield smashed. Nothing was stolen, but the windshield is gone, with glass all over the inside of my car. Fuckin people....... I've parked in super ghetto areas of Toronto so many times and nothing like this has ever happened. Then the one time I go to Hamilton some fucker decides to have some fun with a baseball bat...

Other than that, a very solid night.

That's weird... I went to System tonight and when I came back to my buddy's car some fuck nut had smashed his windshield and banged up pretty much all of his car. Fucking people... I hope they die...

Well what can I say except that I had a great time!!!
A couple things I must apologize for even though they were beyond my control:
1. the AC broke in the main room around midnight and we couldn't get it back on there thats why it was so bloody hot.
2. That idiot that caused a huge scene outside in line around 12:30...thanks but no thanks jerk, we don't need your patronage!

Aside from that it was a stellar evening for H-Town.
Many thanks to everyone that helped out and attended. We're doing it all again real soon.

And Kenny G - what can i say bro? Best of luck to you on the rest of the tour, rip shit up all over the planet and let 'em know where ya come from bro!

I am not a person who drops names of the DJ i know or anything like that, but I have to ask 905tive... Isn't it such a pleasure to deal with a superstar DJ like Kenny Glasgow? I have had the pleasure to deal with Kenny on both a personal basic and professional basis, and have never come across such a talented Dj with such a grounded personality. I must say that I wish nobody more luck than Kenny, he truly is a people person and a great representation of Canadain talent.

It is such a pleasure to work with him. He's a man of few words but he says more than enough behind the decks. I wish him nothing but the best and I hope that after he tears a hole in Europe he'll come back again.

Damn, I wish I knew Tribe kids were in the house. Oh well. Good night...but yah, the AC problem was fucking brutal.

Kenny played a solid set...loved the track "I don't need this shit!"...standout on Lawler's Nubreed.

Partied for about 10 minutes with RJ45, (good to see you bro') and good to dance some breaks for a change too.

Fever has stepped it up, and I'm sure I'll be back for Lafleche in November.

So good to be able to walk home from a night out in Hamilton...

That's shitty, i feel sorry for u. I've lived in Hamilton all my life, and that hasn't happened. However, u get drunk retards from the border and fever, and shit like this happenes. That sux, sorry to hear that. Something similar happened in t.o for us.

Anyways, i gotta chek out the new fever fridays, it will be such a change from the past fever days. I think i'm in montreal for lafleche, but i wanna chek this out soon.

Wow, I had a wicked time.
Kenny killed it as usual. Started with a really housey flavour and by the end of the night was throwing down some evil tech tracks.
The thing that blew me away about the night, was the club itself. This was my first time in the newly renovated Fever, and it was a bit scary...I kept forgetting where I was.
Just didn't feel like the old place, but I like what they've done.
Another thing that struck me was the weird crowd was. There was an odd mix of H-town party kids, MAC students, dressed up clubbers, and fucked up ginos. Led to a very strange vibe, especially in the techno room.

The breaks room was great though. Nice and cool, with some great dancers and smiling faces. Respect to Switch, because he did something unbelievable...he got a snobby tech-house-DnB head dancing his ass off to funky breaks. I vow this will never happen again.

Great party once again 905ive crew! Keep up the good work.

^^^^^ Yes I totally agree, the crowd was weird. Unfortunately I think most of them didn't appreciate Kenny G at all

What an awesome night! Fever looks great...I no longer feel like I'm dancing in a hole in the ground. It's so refreshing to have a place to hang out with friends and listen to some good music all in your hometown. I think I'll be going to Toronto a lot less if Fever keeps bringing in DJ's like Czech and Kenny Glasgow.

I have to agree that the crowd was a strange mix...I don't think that they truly appreciated Kenny's music either. Once he stopped spinnning the housey-techno, the room began to empty, which was fine with me because there was more room to dance

My only problemof the night was with the bathrooms...the people who fixed up the club did a wonderful job, but they forgot the bathrooms! PLEASE...invest some money in those bathrooms!

Totally agree. I thought forsure with all the $$$ they invested they would fix the bathrooms....or at least put proper doors and locks on the stalls!!(girl bathrooms are the worst)I was pretty disappointed that they were left the same so hopefully they will fix them up soon!
At the same time the place looked amazing...awesome lights and video screens everywhere. It looked like a totally different place. Kenny was wicked and so were all the breakz DJS! Hopefully more beakz nite will be happening soon!

I had an awsome time on friday! This was my first time at fever, so i wasn't really sure what to expect. But the night turned out to be quite good.
The venue itself was decent. The main room was way too damn hot though, but that's for an obvious reason, and shouldn't happen in the future. Didn't really spend much time in the second room, it seemed kinda small, but atleast it was nice and cool. I agree, the bathrooms were kinda shady. But other than that, the venue was proper.
The music kicked ass. Kenny didn't dissapoint, throwing down a good set. Kept me dancing for the whole set, and that doesn't happen often.
The crowd was a wee weird, but it wasn't all that bad. I mean, that's the crowd i was expecting to see, so it didn't bother me that much. Well, except for chicks who were were too drunk/fucked, that bumped into me, and than started to grab me like i'm some kind of a cheap whore. That wasn't fun. But i saw a few people i haven't seen for ages, or didn't expect to see there, so that definately made the night better.
Overall, the night was proper. It's nice to know that i don't have to travel all the way to TO every weekend to have a good time. I will definately check fever and 905productions events in the near future.

just to let anyone know that is interested. Fever is in the process of working on the washrooms. The girls main washroom this week had new toilets put in . This process is slow I know but is being looked after. There are another set of washrooms in the back of the lounge. As for future events, this Friday Oct.19th the lounge at fever is once again being taken over by BackBreakers and will feature Big League Chu ,Switch, and The Scratch Platoon. As of Nov. 2nd the lounge will be permanently run by Backbreakers(except for special events) and will feature the best in local and international breaks and hip-hop dj's. Nov. lineups include Slim(Vancouver),Fluid(Vancouver),Robb G, Incredible Melting Man,Switch,Madhatter,The Phat Conductor,Resident Soundboy, just to name a few.
