Kazaa Lite Shut Down

I can't seem to reach that article. I think my PC need a reboot or something. But, since the software piggybacks on the kazaa network, the only real way to shut it down is to shut kazaa down. Ironically enough.. you can download kazaa lite client through kazaa.. as well as a million other places on the web.

it's not your computer, zeropaid is just getting hammered...they need a better host

kazaa installs all kinds of software on your computer that monitors your usage patterns, what sites you visit, then sends this information to advertising companies so that the pop ups you get are more likely to be ones that you'll buy into ... spyware can also generally bugger up your system

I may just be really tired, but I can't see anything in that article saying that KLite won't be unusable in a few weeks.

Kazaalite is particularly good.

Nope, you're not tired. The original article that said K-Lite is down was via Slashdot and Zeropaid. The latest article updates the situation at IRCspy and says that all is not lost just yet.


Evidently the parent company to Kazaa tried to shut down Kazaa Lite, succeeded temporarily, but it's not going to hold
