I'm having major hassles with XP running dualmon, so I'm gonna give 2k a go today. it's going on my new system I got last week:

Asus motherboard P4 1.6 (sweet fast boot time)
512 DDR RAM
2 USB 1 and 2 USB 2 slots
40 GB hd (think it's 7200 speed)
24x10x40 CD-RW drive
ATI AIW Radeon card, video in, out, 5.1 support, 32MB DDR RAM
nvidia Vanta 16MB PCI card for 2nd monitor
2 17" mitsubishi monitors
Sound Blaster Live 5.1 audio card
250 MB zip drive
Linksys 4 port router

the box is sitting next to my dependable gray Mac G3 (which is what I've been using to access tribe!)

it'll be a sweet system when I get it working. I'm not sure what your internet connection is, but I use sympatico hs, and by having the router I've noticed about a +20k speed increase and access manager isn't required anymore. if you're looking for another upgrade maybe there's an option for ya. :)

Yeah, I was using the 775FT at work for a bit, and that convinced me that I had to get the 915 for myself. It cost about $500 at WinTel computers

And is that a Northwood P4 you got? (1.6A?)

the box says it's a P4B266-C... I'm afraid I don't know if that means anything, but it says it's upgradeable to 2.2 GHz and it's Northwood ready.
